Why I built it
English is a second language for most people who write in it, and that gap does real damage. A good idea in a clumsy sentence gets marked down, ignored in an inbox, or passed over for a job. I watched people rewrite the same short email six times and still send it unsure.
The tools that were meant to help had a pattern. The useful part started after a paywall. The free part was a teaser sized to frustrate you. And the privacy policy, if you read it, usually reserved the right to keep what you pasted in.
So I built the thing I wanted to exist: ten writing tools that do real work on the free plan, are clear about their limits, and forget your text the moment they are finished with it.
Your writing does not live on my server
This is the decision I am least willing to trade away, so it is worth being exact about it.
When you use a tool, your text is sent to the AI model that processes it and the result comes back to you. What gets written down on our side is a word count and a one-way checksum — enough to enforce a daily limit fairly, and not enough to reconstruct a single sentence of what you wrote. There is no archive of your documents, because there is nothing to archive. Nobody at this company can read your work, and that includes me.
Drafts are the one exception, and they are stored in your own browser, not on the server. Clear your browser data and they are gone for good. The Privacy Policy spells all of this out, and the Cookie Preferences page lists every single item we keep in your browser, with a button to erase the lot.
Honest about what AI can and cannot do
AI writing tools are sold with more confidence than they deserve. I would rather lose a sale than let someone rely on one of these tools in a way that hurts them.
So, plainly: AI output can be wrong. It invents facts, citations and statistics that look completely convincing. Read what it gives you before you send it, submit it, or publish it. Treat it as a strong first draft written by someone fast and confident who has not checked their sources.
And a specific warning about AI detection. Our AI Detector gives you a probability, not a verdict. No detector on the internet — ours included — can prove who wrote a piece of text. They routinely flag careful writing by non-native speakers as machine-written. A detector score should never be used as evidence against a student or an employee. We say the same thing at more length on the Academic Integrity page, and we mean it.
Who it’s for
Students, who need their argument to land and not be undone by grammar. People writing in English as a second, third or fourth language, who know exactly what they mean and want the sentence to say it. Anyone whose job involves email they dread writing. Small businesses and freelancers with no budget for a copywriter and no time to be one.
You do not need an account to use the tools. An account raises your limits and saves your drafts; that is all it does.

The free plan is a real product, not a demo. Guests get a working allowance on every tool; a free account raises it. Free plans carry ads, and that is what pays for the people who never spend a rupee here.

Who’s behind it
AI Writing Assistant is built and operated by Toheed Mehmood, a sole proprietor registered in Pakistan, trading as AI Writing Assistant. It is not a venture-funded startup and there is no support department — when you email, you reach me.
Payments and subscriptions are handled by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every order. That means Paddle handles the payment, the invoice and the taxes for your country, and your card details are never seen by or stored on this site.
