Free AI text summarizer with key sentences, bullet points and custom summaries

Paste an article, report, research paper, email thread, transcript or your own notes and get a faithful summary in seconds. Choose a flowing paragraph, a bullet list of key points, the exact key sentences (highlighted in your original so you can check them), or describe your own custom summary — for a specific audience, focus or format. Set the length from a quick skim to a detailed digest, add a one-line TL;DR, and keep everything in the original language. Every summary is checked so it never adds facts or numbers that are not in your text.

  1. 1

    Add the full text

Paste it, upload a PDF, Word or text file, or drop the file on the editor. Give the summarizer the whole section so names, numbers and conclusions are understood together.

  2. 2

    Choose the shape

Paragraph for a readable overview, Key points for a scannable list, Key sentences for quotable lines straight from the source, or Custom to say exactly what you need — “for a 10-year-old”, “only the financial figures”, “as five numbered steps”.

  3. 3

    Check and use it

Key sentences light up in the original text, the bottom bar shows how much shorter the summary is, and you can regenerate, edit, copy, download as Word, PDF or text, or summarize the summary again for an even tighter version.

Key sentences you can trust

In Key sentences mode the summary is made only of sentences that appear word-for-word in your text; the tool verifies each one and highlights it in the original, so nothing is paraphrased or invented.

Custom summaries

Tell the summarizer who the summary is for and what matters — audience, focus area, tone or format — and it reshapes the output while keeping every fact tied to the source.

Faithful by design

Every result is validated: same language and script, no new numbers or claims, complete sentences, and the length you asked for. If a model drifts, another one is tried automatically.

Built for long documents

Summarize essays, reports, meeting notes and transcripts in 70+ languages. Export to Word, PDF or plain text, or feed the summary back in for a second, shorter pass.

Frequently asked questions

Is the summarizer free?
Yes. Guests and free accounts get a daily word allowance with every mode included; Pro removes the limits and uses the strongest models through no-data-retention providers.
What is the difference between Paragraph, Key points and Key sentences?
Paragraph rewrites the main ideas into flowing prose; Key points turns them into a bullet list; Key sentences copies the most important sentences exactly as written and highlights them in your original text.
Can I control how long the summary is?
Yes. The Length control moves from a short skim (about a third of the text) to a detailed digest (up to two thirds). A TL;DR switch adds a one-sentence takeaway at the top.
Will it add information that is not in my text?
No. Each summary is checked against the source: new numbers, invented claims or a different language are rejected and regenerated.
Is my text stored?
Your text stays in your own browser between visits. Requests are processed in memory, never stored on our servers, and not used to train models.

Always compare important claims, dates, names and figures with the original before you rely on a summary.
