Simple workflow

From rough text to a useful result.

No crowded dashboard or long setup. Pick a task, add context, and review the output before using it.

01

Choose a focused tool

Open the workflow that matches your goal instead of configuring a generic chat.

02

Add text and context

Paste the source and include the audience, tone, or target language when it matters.

03

Review before you use

Check names, facts, meaning, and commitments. You stay responsible for the final wording.

Trust built in

Helpful without hiding the details.

Writing tools should be clear about what they send, what they count, and where automated results need human judgement.

Your text is never stored

Documents are processed in memory and never saved on our servers. What you write stays yours.

Visible limits and state

Plan limits, processing, errors, and results appear next to the work instead of in hidden account screens.

Responsible guidance

AI detection is presented as an estimate, and every generated result asks for review of facts and intent.

Terms worth knowing

Words you’ll see around the site, explained simply.

  • AI writing assistantA tool that helps you write. It can fix grammar, reword sentences, sum up long texts, translate, or draft something from your notes. You decide what to keep.
  • ParaphrasingSaying the same thing in different words. A paraphraser keeps your meaning and changes the wording. You still need to cite the original source.
  • AI humanizerA tool that rewrites machine-sounding text so it reads more naturally. It changes the rhythm and the word choice. Nobody can honestly promise it will pass every AI detector.
  • AI detection scoreA detector’s guess at how likely it is that a machine wrote the text. It can be wrong, so don’t treat it as proof.
  • Readability scoreA number based on how long your sentences and words are. For English we use Flesch Reading Ease. The higher the score, the easier the text is to read.
  • Keyword densityHow often one keyword shows up compared with the rest of the text. It helps you spot a word you’ve repeated too much. There’s no perfect number to aim for.
Plain answers

What this AI writing assistant is, and what it will not do

An AI writing assistant helps with the writing you already have to do. It can fix grammar and spelling, reword a sentence, change the tone, shorten a long text, translate it, or write a first draft from a few notes. Here all of that sits in one free workspace. You don’t need an account to start, and we don’t keep what you write.

Everything in one place

AI Writing Assistant is a set of free writing tools that share one editor and one account. You can check grammar, fix a clumsy paragraph, shorten something long, translate it, build a reference list, or see whether a draft reads as machine-written. You don’t have to sign up first, and a result never stops halfway to ask for payment.

One person builds and runs the site. That explains a few things you might notice. There are no investors pushing to collect data, the free plan stays generous, and nobody asks the AI detector to sound more certain than it really is.

What happens to the text you paste in

We don’t keep it. Your text is used to make the result, and then it’s gone. The only things we record are a word count and a checksum, because the daily allowance needs them to work. Text Compare and the Word Counter go further and never send your text anywhere, and our build fails a test if that ever changes. The Citation Generator also formats references in your browser. The one thing it sends out is the DOI, web address or title you ask it to look up.

If you sync notes in the Notebook, they’re encrypted on your device before they leave it, so we couldn’t read them even if we wanted to. The privacy policy covers the rest in plain English.

What it costs

Every tool is open on every plan, the free one included. Your plan only changes how much you can run through the tools each day. It never locks a tool, and any tool we add later comes with the plan you already have.

You can use the site without signing in. A free account gives you a bigger daily allowance and keeps your notes and drafts on every device you use. Pro raises the allowance a lot further. The pricing page lists what each plan includes in plain sentences.

What it will not promise

We won’t tell you a rewrite will get past an AI detector. Anyone who promises that is betting on one detector at one moment, and the humanizer’s own page explains why we won’t make that bet. Our detector shows how unsure it is, and it says openly that no detector, ours included, is accurate enough to act on alone. This matters most for people writing in a second language, because research shows they get flagged far more often than native speakers.

We also won’t tell you a generated draft is ready to send. Every result asks you to check the names, facts and numbers, and anything you’re agreeing to. The person whose name goes on the text is responsible for it. For students, our academic integrity page is clear about where the line is.

Questions people ask first

Is this AI writing assistant free?

Yes. Every tool works on the free plan. Your plan decides how much you can use each day, never which tools you can open. A free account gives you more, and Pro gives you a lot more.

Do I need an account?

No. Every tool works without signing in. An account just gives you a bigger daily allowance and keeps your notes and drafts in sync across your devices.

Is my text stored?

No. We use your text to make the result and then throw it away. We only record a word count and a checksum for your daily allowance. The Word Counter and Text Compare don’t send your text anywhere at all.

Can it write my essay for me?

The AI Writer can write a first draft from your brief. Treat it as a starting point. Check every fact, put it in your own words, and follow your school’s rules on AI. Our academic integrity page explains where the line is.

Does it work in other languages?

Yes. The grammar checker handles 33 languages and the translator handles 114. Most tools also pick up the language you paste in by themselves.

How is it different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a chat box, so you explain what you want every time. Here each tool is built for one job and already has the settings for it, like tracked grammar fixes, tone options, email subject lines, citation styles and file downloads. And we don’t keep your text.

In short, the tools are free, they’re upfront about what they can’t do, and your writing stays yours.
