It works in more than 30 languages, from English, Spanish, French and German to Arabic, Chinese and Japanese.
Checking starts automatically a moment after you pause. Long documents are scanned paragraph by paragraph, so the first results appear within seconds.
Every underline has a short title such as “Correct the subject-verb agreement” and a one-line explanation, so you learn the rule while you fix it.
Accept fixes one by one or all at once, then use the readability tips, Improve, Rewrite and Synonyms to finish the piece.
Spelling and typos, confused words (their/there/they’re, its/it’s), subject-verb agreement, verb tense and form, articles, prepositions, pronouns, plurals, capitalization, commas, apostrophes and end punctuation — plus run-on sentences and wordy phrasing in the readability pass.
Four rings show Grammar, Readability, Clarity and Vocabulary for the text as it stands. They move only when the text changes, and the note under them tells you exactly what would raise them — shorter sentences, simpler words or fewer errors.
Select any sentence for a floating toolbar: Improve fixes and smooths it, Rewrite offers Standard, Fluent, Formal, Simple, Creative, Shorten and Expand styles, and selecting a single word shows Synonyms that fit that exact sentence. Bold, italic, underline, links, headings and lists are built in.
Your text is sent only to the AI model that checks it, over a zero-data-retention connection, and is never stored on our servers. Results are cached by a hash of each paragraph, not the text itself.
