Let’s write!

Paste Hindi and every issue is underlined where it happens, labelled spelling, grammar, punctuation or style, with the reason attached. Hindi is written in the Devanagari script, and gender agreement, ने with the past tense, matras and the nukta are what a checker has to get right in it. This one shows the rule each time, not just the change, so you can accept the fix, ignore it, or learn from it.
Three steps. The third is the one most checkers leave out.
Type, paste or drop in a document. Hindi is already selected as the language on this page. If the text turns out to be something else, the detector says so and you can change it.
Every flag is underlined in the text and listed beside it. Spelling and grammar flags are errors; punctuation and style flags are judgements, and the label tells you which is which before you decide.
Click a flag to see the fix and the rule behind it, then accept it or ignore it. Hindi has rules that speech does not reveal, and the reason is there so the same error is not made twice.
The parts of Hindi grammar and spelling where a checker has to know the language, not just the words.
Five errors Hindi readers notice at once, and what the checker does with each.
लड़का but लड़के को, लड़के से; लड़कों में in the plural. The noun changes before every postposition, and the direct form in that position is a marked error.
राम ने किताब पढ़ी, सीता ने पत्र लिखा: with ने the verb agrees with the object, not the subject. मैंने किताब पढ़ा is wrong.
दिन (day) and दीन (poor), सुन (listen) and सून (empty). The length of the vowel is the whole difference, and it is the most common spelling error in typed Hindi.
हँसना (to laugh) with the chandrabindu, हंस (swan) with the anusvara. The nasal is the same in speech; the writing keeps them apart.
ज़रूर, फ़िल्म, बड़ा, पढ़ना: the dot under the letter marks a distinct sound. Without it बड़ा becomes बडा, which is not a word.
तू, तुम and आप form a three-step scale, and each takes its own verb form (तू जा, तुम जाओ, आप जाइए). आप with the plural verb is the written default for strangers, customers and elders, and तुम to an unknown reader is a register error.
The checker flags a mixed register as style rather than as an error, so the decision stays yours. If a whole text needs to move from one register to the other, the tone changer rewrites it in one pass.
Students in India writing Hindi for school and competitive exams, where matras and the oblique case are marked.
Businesses and government offices writing to Hindi-speaking customers in standard Hindi rather than transliterated English.
The diaspora, who speak Hindi at home and type it on an English keyboard.

Standard written Hindi, spelled as the current standard has it. Hindi spelling follows the standard set by the Central Hindi Directorate; the errors met most are the wrong short or long vowel (इ/ई, उ/ऊ), the anusvara against the chandrabindu, the dropped nukta, and Urdu or English words transliterated inconsistently. Hindi is preselected on this page; the language menu above the editor changes it if the text turns out to be something else.
Yes, and in Hindi the two overlap. Hindi spelling follows the standard set by the Central Hindi Directorate; the errors met most are the wrong short or long vowel (इ/ई, उ/ऊ), the anusvara against the chandrabindu, the dropped nukta, and Urdu or English words transliterated inconsistently. Each of these is underlined where it happens, labelled spelling or grammar, with the standard form and the rule beside it.
Not unless you ask it to. A check corrects what is wrong and leaves your sentences as you wrote them; every change is a separate flag you accept or ignore. The Improve and Rewrite passes, which do change wording, are separate buttons, and the paraphraser is a separate tool.
Yes. Paste the text or drop in a .docx, .pdf or .txt file; the document is checked paragraph by paragraph and the corrected version can be copied or exported. Long documents are checked within the per-check allowance and continue as you scroll.
That is where the reason attached to each flag earns its keep. Every noun is masculine or feminine and adjectives ending in -ा agree in gender and number (अच्छा लड़का, अच्छी लड़की, अच्छे लड़के); verbs agree with the subject, or, in the perfective, with the object when the subject takes ने. A learner sees which rule was broken, not just the corrected word, and can accept the fix or read why it was raised before deciding.
Translate the corrected Hindi, change its tone, or shorten it. One plan covers every tool.
Each page opens the checker with that language already selected and explains what it looks for in it. The picker above the editor covers more than seventy languages in all.
